2013 was a cool, late-ripening vintage in Champagne. A cold spring delayed flowering, but a sunny and dry summer allowed grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Harvest took place unusually late (into October), resulting in wines with excellent acidity, tension, and long aging potential.
Cool-climate vintage with high acidity and classic structure
More focused and mineral-driven than fruity or opulent
Tasting Notes:
• Color: Pale gold with fine, persistent bubbles
• Aroma: White peach, citrus zest, green apple, toasted brioche, almond, white flowers, and a strong mineral core
• Palate: Precise, vibrant acidity, silky texture, elegant tension, and a long, saline, smoky finish. Shows the signature Dom Pérignon style of finesse and energy
• Drinking Window: Can be enjoyed now with decanting, but will improve over the next 5–20+ years
