Return & Refund Policy | DSWINE
DSWINE strives to provide premium wines and a satisfying shopping experience. If you are dissatisfied with a wine you received, or if there was an error with your order, please get in touch with us immediately at dreamstarwine@gmail.com with a brief explanation of your concern. We will evaluate each situation on a case-by-case basis and work with you to resolve the issue as promptly as possible.
In certain cases, we may request that you return the relevant bottles (opened or unopened) for further inspection or supplier review.
Below are examples of acceptable and non-acceptable reasons for returns. All requests are subject to review and final approval based on the specific facts and circumstances of your order.
Acceptable Reasons for Return (subject to verification):
• You received the wrong producer or vintage;
• You received an incorrect bottle size (e.g., 375ml instead of 750ml);
• You received a different bottling than ordered (e.g., different vineyard designation);
Important Note:
If any bottles arrive damaged or leaking, photos must be emailed to dreamstarwine@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for review. Photos must clearly show the damaged area and the barcode label on the bottle.
Unacceptable Reasons for Return include (but are not limited to):
• Change of mind, surplus purchases, or wines bought as gifts that are no longer wanted.
• Wines that show signs of damage after delivery, due to conditions beyond our control (e.g., heat exposure, improper storage, failed delivery attempts).
• Wines that are corked or flawed — these are considered winery issues and beyond our responsibility, though we understand the disappointment.
• All wines over 10 years old, or orders shipped internationally, are considered final sale.
• Orders that cannot be delivered, are seized, or destroyed due to violation of shipping laws or carrier policies are not eligible for refunds. You are solely responsible for ensuring that alcoholic beverages may be lawfully received at your location.
Order Cancellations & Fees:
• A 3% transaction fee will be applied to all cancellations to cover credit card processing fees incurred at the time of order.
• If an order is canceled more than 7 days after being placed, a 15% restocking fee will apply to offset inventory and administrative costs.
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate legitimate cancellation or return requests. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
DSWINE reserves the right to decline or approve any return or cancellation at its sole discretion.
